San Juan County Fire & Rescue EMS Program seeks an experienced EMS leader to direct and advance the department's EMS system, clinical guidelines, and QA/QI initiatives. The role oversees regulatory compliance, interagency coordination, and performance improvement across the entire EMS program.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Eight (8) years of progressive experience in Firefighting or Emergency Medical Services including two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Five (5) years of experience as an Advanced Life Support Provider.
• Current State of New Mexico EMS Paramedic licensure with ACLS, PALS, CPR or ability to obtain by date of hire.
• ICS 100, 200, 300, 700, 800 or ability to acquire certification within one year of hire date.

Responsabilidades

• Directs, develops, administers, coordinates, and evaluates the EMS Program with short- and long-range goals, priorities, objectives, policies, and performance standards.
• Evaluates EMS program effectiveness and recommends improvements to clinical care, operations, regulatory compliance, and service delivery.
• Advises leadership on EMS system performance, regulatory changes, clinical trends, and resource needs.
• Serves as primary liaison with EMS Medical Director(s) to develop and implement EMS clinical guidelines, protocols, and standards.
• Manages EMS Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement program including review of incident and patient care documentation for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinates with Training Division on competency needs, clinical trends, and new equipment; provides subject-matter support.
