SAN Juan County Public Hospital District No. 1 seeks a Director of Outreach and Logistics / Captain to lead, deploy, and track all operational assets and communications tools across the San Juan Islands.

You will assist in managing the AHA Training Center, schedule CPR/FA courses, and coordinate certification activities for instructors. You will backfill as EMT/Paramedic on high-acuity calls, supervise responders, and ensure BLS/ALS coverage while maintaining ICS and agency procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold a WA EMT with at least three years of experience or a WA Paramedic with five years of experience.
• Experience in EMS leadership, field supervision, and incident command is required.
• Ability to supervise and mentor EMTs and Paramedics; ICS knowledge desired.

Responsabilités

• Oversee deployment and maintenance of operational assets and communications equipment.
• Coordinate AHA Training Center activities, instructor rosters, and course scheduling.
• Lead pre-hospital BLS/ALS responses and field operations under ICS as needed.
• Manage staffing, logistics, fleet, and asset tracking for the district.
