Job summary

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, EMS or telecom dispatcher experience or 1 year EMS/public safety dispatch experience, strong English literacy, radio/phone communication, accurate reporting, and solid typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply Emergency Medical Dispatch concepts as per standards.
• Allocate EMS resources using protocols and decision-making rules.
• Ensure paperwork accuracy and completeness at end of shift.
• Perform data entry for shift, including State Run Report data entry.
• Generate reports and verify accuracy.
• Assist in locating incident scenes and selecting safest routes.
