911 Emergency Communications seeks Emergency Medical Dispatchers to support urgent medical calls from the Colorado front range. You will verify locations, gather information, and provide protocol-based guidance to responders, ensuring rapid and accurate dispatch.

This role requires high school diploma and EMS-related certifications where applicable, with potential CPR requirements and overtime as needed. Training and certification may be sponsored by the employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is commonly required.
• EMD certification may be required before appointment.
• CPR certification may be required; check vacancy for specifics.

Responsabilités

• Receive calls involving illness, injury, and other medical emergencies.
• Confirm patient location, callback number, and access details.
• Ask approved questions about patient’s condition.
• Determine priority through the dispatch system.
• Dispatch or coordinate ambulance resources as assigned.
• Relay patient information and scene hazards to responders.
• Document call processing and participate in quality-review activities.
• Follow protocols and medical oversight for instructions.
