Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is commonly required.
• Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) certification may be required or sponsored by the employer.
• CPR certification may be required.

• Provide protocol-based instructions within current qualifications
• Relay patient information and scene hazards to responding personnel
• Document call processing and participate in quality-review activities
