Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks an EMS Dispatcher to ensure the expeditious flow of 911 calls and radio transmissions for Emergency Medical Services.

Qualifications include NJ DOH EMT Certification, NJ Dispatcher Certification, Basic Communications Certification, BLS/CPR, PHTLS/ITLS/TCCC, valid driver''s license, CEVO within 3 months, a high school diploma, a clean driving record, and 2+ years EMS experience with 1 year dispatching preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Department of Health Emergency Medical Technician Certification.
• Emergency Medical Dispatcher Certification (NJ State Approved) prior to hiring.
• Basic Communications Certification (NJ State Approved) prior to hiring.
• Current and valid Healthcare Provider BLS CPR card.
• PHTLS or ITLS or TCCC certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CEVO certification must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period.
• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Must have a good driving record
• Two+ years EMS experience with one year of Public Safety dispatching preferred.

Education and Work Experience

• Current and valid New Jersey Department of Health Emergency Medical Technician Certification.
• Required to obtain Emergency Medical Dispatcher Certification (NJ State Approved) prior to hiring
• Required to obtain Basic Communications Certification (NJ State Approved) prior to hiring
• Current and valid Healthcare Provider ? BLS CPR card.
• Current and valid PHTLS or ITLS or TCCC certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CEVO certification ? must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period.
• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Must have a good driving record
• Must have at least two (2) years EMS experience with one (1) year of Public Safety dispatching experience preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $17.02/Hr. to $22.98/Hr. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
