Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks an Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic to deliver high-quality life support in pre-hospital and inter-facility transport. You will join a dedicated team providing care across neonatal to geriatric patients and work within hospital policies and procedures.

This role requires NJ paramedic certification, BLS CPR, ACLS, PALS, a valid driver’s license, and CEVO training with renewal every three years.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Paramedic certification.
• Current Healthcare Provider – BLS CPR card.
• Current and valid ACLS card.
• Current and valid PALS card.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CEVO certification – obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 years.
• Previous experience as a Paramedic preferred.
• Good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Render basic life support of the highest quality in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings.
• Serve as a member of the health care team in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Provide care to patients from neonatal through geriatric ages.

Responsibilities

The Emergency Medical Technician renders basic life support of the highest quality, compassion and dignity, while providing patients transportation in the pre- hospital and inter-facility settings. Functions as a member of the health care team in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures. Provides care to patients ranging in age from neonatal through geriatric.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current and valid New Jersey Department of Health Paramedic certification

2. Current and valid Healthcare Provider – BLS CPR card

3. Current and valid AHA ACLS card

4. Current and valid AHA PALS card 5. Valid Driver’s License

6. CEVO certification – must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period

7. Previous experience as a Paramedic preferred

8. Good driving record
