Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks an EMS Dispatcher to ensure the prompt and orderly handling of EMS communications. The role requires NJ EMT certification, NJ dispatcher & basic communications certifications, BLS CPR, and other EMS credentials.

This is a full-time position with varied shifts, offering a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities in a recognized health system. A valid driver's license and prior EMS/dispatch experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey EMT Certification is required.
• NJ EMS Dispatcher Certification (State approved) must be obtained prior to hiring.
• Basic Communications Certification (State approved) must be obtained prior to hiring.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS CPR card.
• Current PHTLS or ITLS or TCCC certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CEVO certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire and renewed every 3 years.
• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• Good driving record.
• At least two years EMS experience with one year of Public Safety dispatching preferred.

Responsibilities

• The EMS Dispatcher is responsible for the expeditious and efficient flow of incoming and outgoing telephone and radio transmissions for Emergency Medical Services.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $17.02/Hr. to $22.98/Hr. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
