Job summary

Qualifications

• EMS/public safety dispatcher experience or telecommunications experience.

• Ability to operate basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls and route transportation.
• Allocate EMS resources using approved protocols.
• Complete and accurate paperwork before shift end.
• Enter data accurately and produce required reports.
• Locate scenes and determine fastest safe routes.
• Relay instructions from supervisors and emergency information.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Follow established service request formats.
• Operate equipment including computer, 911 systems, and recording devices.
