Job summary

PHI Health in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Communications Specialist to coordinate emergency medical transportation communications, support field crews, and help manage patient transport information with FAA and PHI policies. EMS and/or air medical communications experience preferred.
Must be computer literate with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Assimilate information to support quality decisions across transport requests and radio communications.
Maintain effective communication with crew members and aircraft using a multi-channel radio system.
Input and coordinate flight and ground transport information in the network database per FAA Part 135 policies.
Coordinate with aviation, medical and communications teams to arrange transports.
Provide outbound follow-up on quotes and assist billing with patient accounts.
