Homebase, Inc. in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a Communications Officer to join our in-house Communications Center.

You will answer calls from health facilities, residences and hospitals, determine the call type, dispatch ambulance resources, and support operations with tasks such as processing payments and handling documents. We offer 4-10 hour shifts or 3-12 hour shifts, with both Full-Time and Part-Time options.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ and able to handle multiple tasks.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
• Attend promptly to scheduled hours.
• Coordinate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Receive and evaluate emergent/non-emergent calls for service (Non-911).
• Maintain communication with emergency personnel via radio, MDT, phone and in person.
• Use EMD protocols to assist caller until EMS arrives.
• Train and evaluate new dispatch staff as needed.
• Deliver courteous, responsive service to customers and staff.
