Homebase, Inc. in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a Communications Officer to join our in-house Communications Center.
You will answer calls from health facilities, residences and hospitals, determine the call type, dispatch ambulance resources, and support operations with tasks such as processing payments and handling documents. We offer 4-10 hour shifts or 3-12 hour shifts, with both Full-Time and Part-Time options.

The communications officer answers call for assistance from health facilities, private residences and hospitals in the Denver Metro and surrounding areas. The dispatcher must use our internal system to help determine the nature of the call to dispatch resources as necessary and in accordance with established procedures. Receive requests for information regarding transports available, take payments over the phone for transports, print/scan/copy fax as needed and various other tasks in support of the Communications Operations Center. You can spend the day dispatching an ambulance to help someone get to their dialysis appointment or spend your day dispatching ambulances to emergent calls for trips to the emergency room for critical care- and everything in between! This is a dynamic role with room for growth!

Interviews are conducted at our home office and include typing test and a hands-on skills test.
