Job summary

The State EMS Analytics and Research Unit Assistant (Data Analyst 1) supports division-wide analytics by analyzing both structured and unstructured data from programs, systems, and external sources to create analysis-ready datasets and generate reports, dashboards, visualizations, and findings for program management and policy development.

Qualifications

• Professional data analysis and modeling for structured and unstructured data.
• Proficiency in data extraction, aggregation, linking, validation and quality assurance.
• Experience creating analysis-ready datasets, reports, dashboards and visualizations.
• Ability to perform descriptive statistics, trend identification and exploratory analysis.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with business intelligence tools and analytical project coordination.
