eMed LLC is hiring an Analytics Engineer to join the Global Data & Analytics team. You will build data models, pipelines, and a semantic layer that powers reporting for clinical, product, marketing, and B2B client operations.

This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, shaping raw data into clean, tested models analysts and executives can trust. You will backfill a key seat and scale core data marts as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics engineering or data engineering with production data models
• Strong SQL and dbt experience in a modern cloud warehouse
• Experience with dimensional data modeling (facts/dimensions, star schemas) and scalable design
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau/Looker/Power BI) and data governance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dbt models across staging, intermediate, and mart layers on AWS Redshift
• Own and evolve core data marts (e.g. patient, prescriptions, clinical outcomes, B2B) used by executives and stakeholders
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure reliable upstream ingestion and analytics readiness
• Translate business questions into structured, reusable data models rather than ad-hoc queries
• Write and maintain dbt tests, lineage, and documentation for governance across the glossary
• Support client analytics and reporting needs, including dashboards and data-sharing pipelines
• Contribute to data governance and QA processes across foundational marts
• Participate in code review, deployment, and CI/CD practices to keep the warehouse scalable
