Job summary

Community Health Centers of the Rutland Region is seeking an EMR Training Specialist to deliver onsite onboarding and ongoing training for Medent and CareStack. The role focuses on workflow-based coaching, materials development, and end-user education across locations in Rutland, VT.

You will collaborate with IT and clinical leadership, tailor training to diverse roles, and promote consistent EMR usage while maintaining documentation and training resources.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, education, informatics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two+ years of training, teaching, healthcare, EMR workflow support, or related role.
• Experience educating or supporting individuals with varying levels of knowledge and technical proficiency.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn healthcare EMR applications and understand role-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured, consistent EMR onboarding training for Medent and CareStack.
• Provide follow-up and reinforcement training based on role and workflow.
• Conduct onsite rounding and provider training across Community Health locations.
• Deliver targeted training on workflow changes, system updates, and EMR initiatives.
• Create clear training materials and job aids for end users.
