Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare IT, computer science or information systems with IT experience in healthcare.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 3 years of EMR platform training experience.
• Experience using NextGen Ambulatory preferred.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current knowledge of clinical applications (EDR, EHR, Population Health).
• Assess training needs and document requirements for clinical workflows.
• Develop and update EMR templates with leadership.
• Provide EMR training to staff and new employees.
• Go Live support and testing of new functionality.
• Coordinate training schedules and materials.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and QA/QI activities.
• Lead and mentor others in information systems applications.
