Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is seeking a Health Information Technology (HIT) Training & Support Specialist to join our Fresno, CA team. In this role, you will deliver engaging EHR training, provide on-going system support, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with vendors to improve clinical information systems while upholding HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.

You will work with cross-functional teams, develop user-friendly job aids, and help ensure uninterrupted

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a health center; proven training in Clinical Information Systems.
• Health Information Technology certification preferred; driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver impactful, recurring, and on-demand EHR training sessions.
• Be the go-to expert for EMR system support, troubleshooting, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth operation.
• Collaborate with system vendors to ensure prompt resolution of issues and continuous system improvement.
• Provide on-call support, ensuring expert assistance is available when needed.
• Travel to various UHC health centers as needed to provide support.
