Job summary

The Ohio State University seeks a Clinical Apps Technician to provide telephone-based support for the EMR system, addressing both technical and end-user workflow issues in a patient-centered environment.

You will work with IT infrastructure, technical support, and application teams to troubleshoot Tier 1 and Tier 2 requests, perform system maintenance, document issues, and support ongoing clinical applications availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of relevant work experience in a customer support, healthcare, information technology, or clinical applications support environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based technical and application support for the EMR system, addressing both technical and end-user workflow issues.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure, technical support, and application teams to troubleshoot Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues.
• Perform system maintenance, operational support activities, issue documentation, and other duties to ensure reliability of clinical applications.
