Job Description
The Clinical Applications Technician provides telephone-based technical and application support for the electronic medical record (EMR) system, addressing both technical and end-user workflow issues. This role supports a diverse customer base, including medical center staff, patients utilizing application portals, and Community Connect affiliate hospitals.
The position collaborates closely with IT infrastructure, technical support, and application teams, to troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 support issues. Additional responsibilities include system maintenance, operational support activities, issue documentation, and other duties as assigned to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of clinical applications.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and one (1) year of relevant work experience in a customer support, healthcare, information technology, or clinical applications support environment.
