Responsibilities

• Prepare patient charts and medical records for scanning.

• Perform quality control checks to ensure records are complete and legible.
• Maintain and organize medical records.
• Ensure documents are properly assigned and stored.
• Follow established HIM and document-management procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
