Job summary

Advantmed is seeking enthusiastic Medical Records Technicians for a part-time seasonal role. Technicians will travel to various medical facilities to scan patient records using company devices. The position supports HIPAA compliance and requires reliable transportation for visits up to 60-80 miles round trip.

Compensation is hourly ($18–$22) or per record, with semi-monthly pay and travel reimbursements. Prior experience with EHR/EMR systems (Epic/Cerner/Meditech) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must-have: Valid driver’s license, car and active insurance.
• Willing to drive up to 60-80 miles per round trip.
• Available 08:00–17:00 local time for facility visits.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a record system for patient information and documents.
• Collect, organize and manage data using electronic systems.
• Keep medical records organized, accurate and complete.
• Create digital copies and store records electronically.
• File paperwork and reports quickly and accurately.
• Ensure HIPAA standards are met and confidentiality maintained.
• Interact with medical staff and healthcare providers.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
