Job summary

Good Samaritan seeks a Health Information professional to ensure complete and accurate medical records. You will analyze records, identify deficiencies, and support EMR workflows within a HIPAA-compliant environment.

The role requires familiarity with EMR and document imaging, with RHIT/RHIA credentials preferred. This is a full-time, day-shift position in Saint Paul, MN, offering a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Health Information or Medical Record Technology preferred.
• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records for missing documentation and signatures to ensure completeness.
• Enter deficiencies for providers in the EMR system.
• Maintain EMR and document imaging systems, ensuring high quality capture and indexing.
• Ensure HIPAA privacy and security regulations are followed and assist with ROI requests.
