Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking an EMR Coach to support Cerner users across the hospital, under the Market Clinical Informatics Director. This role trains clinicians and provides elbow support to ensure efficient workflow integration.

The EMR Coach will assist in EMR implementation, support, and optimization, creating education content as needed and collaborating with physicians and nurses to improve satisfaction with the EMR across the site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Preferred: 3 years of experience in clinical hospital setting.
• Ability to develop, maintain and collaborate with clinicians.
• Ability to problem-solving and resolve conflict.
• Understands clinical workflow and has the skill set to integrate technology into clinical practice.
• Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills required.
• Must serve as a model of credibility, professionalism, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Purposeful hospital rounding; provide direct support to providers and nurses to ensure EMR integration into clinical workflow.
• Ensure consistent and effective use of the Cerner EMR aligned with policy and standards.
• May create education content to communicate EMR changes and initiatives.
• Provide suggestions and seek feedback from physicians and clinicians regarding the EMR.
• Collaborate with the Director to improve physician and clinician satisfaction with the EMR.
