Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking Positive Support Specialists to work in Intensive Community Residential Services (ICRS). You will support individuals with complex medical, behavioral and mental health needs, helping them participate in meaningful activities and improve independence.

As part of the ICRS program, you will document shifts, advocate for rights and medical care, and respond to crises with proper training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree preferred in a field related to this role.
• 1-2 years experience with people with complex needs; 3-5 years preferred.
• Must pass BCA background check and have a valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Help individuals become more independent in life skills.
• Advocate for individuals in rights, medical care and community.
• Complete documentation and record-keeping each shift.
• Manage crisis situations safely; training provided.
• Engage in trauma-informed care daily.
