employU in Tallahassee, FL is seeking an Employment Specialist to build individualized job plans for customers in the Leon County area. You will guide clients through resume writing, interview prep, and placement while coordinating with Job Coaches and maintaining ongoing communication with employers.

This full-time role emphasizes empowering individuals with disabilities, delivering community-based services, and ensuring successful job retention with strong teamwork and growth opportunities

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma required; some college preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or job placement is preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish); ASL is a plus.
• Background screening: FDLE Level 2 required.

Aufgaben

• Create and implement a plan for each customer to find employment within reasonable distance.
• Organize MOUs and develop new business relationships to expand services.
• Supervise, train and assist Job Coaches with job activities; monitor hours.
• Assist customers with applications, resumes, and interview preparation.
• Maintain regular contact with customers and document progress in databases; coordinate with employers.
• Support customers throughout onboarding and life of the case to ensure retention.
