employU, Inc. is Hiring a full-time Employment Specialist in Tallahassee, FL. You will create personalized employment plans for clients with disabilities and help them secure meaningful work in the local community.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Job Coaches, regular client communication, resume/Interview coaching, and ensuring successful job retention with ongoing employer liaison.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; some college preferred.
• Experience with individuals with a disability and/or counseling, job placement or coaching is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish; ASL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organizes area MOU campaigns and develops new business relationships.
• Supervises Job Coaches and monitors work hours.
• Identifies on-the-job training opportunities matching client interests and distance.
• Assists clients with resumes, applications and interview preparation.
• Maintains regular contact with clients and documents progress in the system.
• Coordinates transportation and supports job retention through the life of the case.
