Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support elementary and secondary students in dedicated settings. This full-time contract role focuses on high-quality instruction and individualized support within resource programs as well as an ASD classroom and an Elementary TI room.

You will collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor progress, tailor lessons, and foster an inclusive, respectful learning environment.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Special Education Teaching license.
• Experience teaching in resource or specialized settings at elementary and secondary levels.
• Familiarity with ASD classroom strategies and intervention room support.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Emergency certifications are not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to individual education plans (IEPs).
• Manage classroom routines and foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to maximize student progress.
• Collect and report data on student outcomes, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Support students with a range of educational needs, emphasizing growth and success.
