Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks an experienced Special Education Teacher to join a vibrant primary school for a full-time contract. The role focuses on a self-contained classroom supporting students with Developmental Disabilities and Autism, with immediate interviews and a start date as soon as possible, through May 27, 2027.

You will develop and implement IEPs, differentiate instruction, and collaborate with families and colleagues to nurture academic, social, and emotional growth in a supportive school

Qualifications

Valid Multi-Categorical Special Education Certification required.
Prior teaching experience in primary grades strongly preferred.
Classroom expertise with students with developmental disabilities and/or autism.
Proven ability to implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
Flexibility, compassion, and a growth-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

Instruct a self-contained classroom, differentiating instruction to address a spectrum of learning and behavioral needs.
Develop, review, and carry out IEPs in compliance with current standards.
Create a structured, supportive environment that nurtures academic, social, and emotional growth.
