Job summary

ProCare Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support high school students in ASD classrooms on a full-time, onsite basis for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role offers stability and the chance to mentor students in a supportive community.

You will deliver direct instruction, develop tailored IEPs, monitor progress, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to foster an inclusive learning environment and track outcomes for continuous growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working with high school students in special education settings, particularly with ASD populations.
• Ability to develop and adapt IEPs to meet diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families, support staff, and teachers.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instructional support to high school students in ASD classrooms.
• Assess students' academic and functional abilities to create tailored lesson plans.
• Monitor and document progress, reporting to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support.
• Participate in meetings, PD, and ongoing trainings.
