Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a resource classroom under a full-time contract.

This 35-hour week position focuses on IEP development, collaboration with teachers and families, and creating a positive learning environment across the school year.

Qualifications include a valid Special Education certification (K-6 or PK-3) and experience with young learners in resource settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and individualized support for students in a resource classroom.
• Develop and implement IEPs to ensure goals are attainable.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs.
• Monitor progress and maintain up-to-date records and documentation.
• Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and support personnel on progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams.
