Job summary

Evergreen Public Schools Burnt Bridge Creek Elementary School in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Special Education Paraeducator to support students with IEPs. The role involves one-to-one and small-group instruction, behavior management, and data collection to monitor student progress.

Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen (18) years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must meet one or more: ParaPro score 455+, Associate degree or higher, 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits, or Paraeducator Apprenticeship Program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision of instructional activities and work with students individually or in small groups.
• Provide one-to-one and group instruction as directed by the teacher to meet IEP goals.
• Maintain data on student progress and assist in reporting progress toward IEP goals.
• Prepare and organize instructional materials and support behavioral management as directed.
