Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas seeks a School Psychologist to support students’ educational and emotional growth. You’ll conduct evaluations, review results with families and district staff, and collaborate with ARD committees to design targeted interventions.

You’ll provide therapy per IEPs, monitor progress with detailed records, and participate in parent conferences and ARD meetings to advocate for students’ needs. A Master’s degree or higher and an active Texas license are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited School Psychology program.
• Active license to practice as a School Psychologist in Texas.
• Successful completion of an internship in School Psychology.
• Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Evaluations: Perform Psychological and/or Psycho-Educational evaluations to determine students’ eligibility for specialized services.
• Communicate Findings: Review evaluation results with parents and district personnel, offering clear and compassionate guidance.
• Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to design targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services as outlined in students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other discussions to advocate for and support students’ needs.
