Zusammenfassung

Telecare is seeking a Peer Support Specialist in Redwood City, CA to engage with members and help them pursue recovery goals. You will promote the Recovery Culture and provide crisis de-escalation as needed, in a least-restrictive environment.

Shifts available include part-time Thu–Sat 3:00 PM–11:30 PM (.6) and full-time Sun–Wed 11:00 PM–7:30 AM (.8). Starting wage is $21.38–$25.76 per hour, with geographic differentials.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required; CalMHSA Certification required by October 1, 2025; certification must remain current.
• Experience as a beneficiary of the Behavioral Health system of care.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
• Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.

Aufgaben

• Peer Support Specialists engage, inspire, and facilitate meaningful conversations with members served that assist the person to explore, create, and meet their own recovery goals.
• Provide consultation to the team to promote Telecare’s Recovery Culture as defined by RCCS.
• Respond to critical situations with high level engagement and de-escalation skills to support a least restrictive environment.
