Telecare Corporation is seeking a Peer Support Specialist in San Mateo County to engage and support individuals in recovery. You will provide peer guidance, assist with recovery goals, and promote Telecare's RCCS culture within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, California Medi-Cal Peer Certification within 120 days, and a valid driver's license. The role involves driving clients using a company vehicle and working PM shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• California: Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA must be obtained within 120 days of hire and maintained.
• Experience as a beneficiary of the Behavioral Health system of care.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance in your name.
• Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.

Responsibilities

• Engage, inspire, and facilitate meaningful conversations to help members explore and meet recovery goals.
• Provide consultation to promote Telecare's Recovery Culture (RCCS) within the team.
• Respond to critical situations with de-escalation skills to support a least restrictive environment.
