Priority Dispatch Corp. in Indio, CA is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist to provide recovery-focused support within a SUD treatment program. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to foster recovery, resiliency, and empowerment using lived experience.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, a California driver’s license, and fingerprint clearance. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Must maintain active registration with CalMHSA (required).
• Minimum of one year lived experience in behavioral health or SUD recovery.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak proficiently) preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• CPR and First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid California Driver's License (required).
• FBI/DOJ fingerprint clearance, TB test, and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsabilités

• Provide recovery support, advocacy, and feedback to treatment team.
• Facilitate peer-led groups for clients, families, and caregivers.
• Shadow and support individual and group therapy sessions.
• Assist with discharge planning, housing, and employment resources.
• Maintain professional boundaries and support client recovery goals.
• Transport clients to offsite appointments and activities.
• Participate in trainings, case conferences, and staff meetings.
