Job summary

HealthRIGHT 360 seeks a Peer Support Specialist in San Diego to empower participants through mentorship and collaborative treatment planning. You will work with the treatment team, advocate for participant needs, and help navigate community resources, while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements include CA driver’s license, CPR/First Aid within 30 days, and a high school diploma with a peer specialist certification. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Peer specialist certification required or obtainable after employment.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.
• Valid California driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide support by building trusting relationships with participants and mentoring.
• Consult treatment team, contribute to treatment planning and empower participants.
• Advocate for participant needs and connect to community resources.
• Maintain confidentiality and document participant updates and incidents.
• Assist with housing, benefits, education, employment, transportation, childcare, and medical needs.
