Eagle Ridge Health & Wellness in Keota, IA seeks an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our therapy team and help residents regain independence and functional ability. You will evaluate residents, develop evidence-based plans of care, and deliver interventions focused on ADLs, fine motor skills, and cognition.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license in Iowa
• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
• Compassion, patience, and resident-centered approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine functional abilities and rehabilitation needs
• Develop and implement OT plans of care
• Provide interventions focused on ADLs, fine motor skills, cognition, and safe daily routines
• Train residents in compensatory strategies to maximize independence
• Educate residents, families, and staff on safe techniques and adaptive equipment
• Document evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and admin teams for coordinated care
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary discussions
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, clinical, and safety standards
