Job summary

Oakwood Care Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to design, implement, and direct customized therapy programs that help patients regain independence and improve daily functioning.

We offer flexible scheduling including full-time, part-time, and PRN roles, with competitive pay, full benefits, tuition reimbursement, and growth opportunities. New grads are welcome to apply and will be supported by an in-house therapy team.

Qualifications

• State of Iowa Occupational Therapist License – or eligible to sit for board exams.
• New grads welcome; training and mentorship provided.
• Experience preferred but not required; we invest in new grads.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and direct customized occupational therapy programs.
• Help patients regain strength and independence in daily activities.
• Assess patient progress and adjust therapy plans to meet changing needs.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and at-home exercises.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure holistic patient care.
