Arrowhead Post Acute is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist in a skilled nursing/post-acute setting in Jonesboro, GA. You will implement treatment plans, facilitate therapeutic activities, and promote independence in activities of daily living.

The role requires graduation from an accredited OTA program and current COTA licensure. Prior experience in long-term care is preferred, with strong communication and documentation

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure, registration, or certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, post-acute care, or long-term care settings preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans and interventions.
• Provide therapeutic activities and exercises to improve functional abilities.
• Instruct residents in use of adaptive equipment and compensatory techniques.
• Assist with training in self-care activities and daily living tasks.
• Document resident progress and treatment responses accurately.

Formação académica
