Job summary

PACS Group, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist for PRN and Part-time availability at our Mentor Hills Post Acute location. The OT will evaluate and treat patients, coordinate with families and physicians, and document services in medical records.

The role includes training facility staff and supervising assistants. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, obtaining physician approval, discharging planning, and assisting with durable medical equipment orders to promote patient

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Licensed OT in state.
• Must meet continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours or 1 business day of referral.
• Develop and obtain approval for treatment plans from referring physician.
• Treat patients per physician plan and document progress.
• Supervise COTA, aides, and students in care activities.
• Communicate with supervisor and health team regarding patient progress.
