Job summary

MedStar Health Home Care is seeking an experienced Full-Time Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients in St. Mary’s County, including Lexington Park, Hollywood and California areas.

The role requires a Monday–Friday schedule with one weekend per month. As an RN you will assess patient conditions, implement and adjust care plans, and collaborate with a team of therapists, social workers and aides to promote healing at home and independence.

Qualifications

• RN experience within last 5 years in ICU/CCU/Med-Surg/Oncology/Gerontology or 1–2 years home health preferred.
• ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Active DC RN License and BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate home-based care to patients and families.
• Assess evolving patient conditions, identify concerns, and develop care plans.
• Coordinate interventions with the home health nursing team.
