Job summary

MedStar Health Home Care is seeking an experienced Full-Time Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to serve St. Mary’s County area including Lexington Park, Hollywood and California. Work Monday through Friday with one weekend per month.

RNs will support care plans and promote patient independence, delivering care across a range of needs in the patient’s home. Join an award-winning organization recognized for its leadership in home care.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• 1-2 years RN experience within last 5 years or 1-2 years Home health nursing experience preferred.
• Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
• Assess evolving patient conditions, identify health concerns, and develop care plans.
• Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated with other members of the home health nursing team.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• 1-2 years RN experience (ICU, CCU, Med-Surg, Oncology, Gerontology) within last 5 years required or 1-2 years Home health nursing experience preferred
• Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

This position has a hiring range of

USD $35.68 - USD $64.71 /Hr.
