Job summary
MedStar Health Home Care is seeking an experienced Full-Time Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to serve Northern Prince George's County, including Beltsville, Laurel, Hyattsville, Greenbelt and surrounding areas. The role requires 1-2 years of RN experience and an active DC RN license with BLS; scheduling includes Monday–Friday with one weekend per month.
You will assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and deliver skilled nursing care in patients' homes with a collaborative, 24/7/365
Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing.
- 1-2 years RN experience (ICU, CCU, Med-Surg, Oncology, Gerontology) within last 5 years required or 1-2 years Home health nursing experience preferred
- Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).
Responsibilities
- As a Home Health Clinical Nurse (RN), you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
- You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
- Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the home health nursing team.
