Job summary
Meritus Home Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality in-home nursing care to patients in Maryland. You will manage skilled nursing tasks, medication protocols, and collaborate with therapists and social services to promote recovery and independence at home.
Ideal candidates have ASN or higher (BSN preferred) and at least one year of clinical experience in home health or acute hospital settings.
Qualifications
- Education – ASN or higher required. BSN or higher preferred.
- One year of clinical experience required, Home Health or Acute Hospital preferred.
- Specialty certification recognized by the Magnet Recognition Program™ preferred.
- Current license to practice as Registered Nurse in Maryland, or compact state with Maryland requirements.
Responsibilities
- Skilled nursing care to patients in their homes.
- Medication management for patients.
- Physical and occupational therapy support as prescribed.
- Medical social services as needed.
- Postpartum care when required.
- Advanced wound care.
- High-tech infusion therapy where applicable.
- Palliative and terminal illness support.
