Job summary

MedStar Health Home Care is seeking an experienced Full-Time Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for St. Mary’s County–Lexington Park, Hollywood and California areas. Monday–Friday with one weekend per month requirement.

You will support patient care plans and coordinate with a team of therapists, social workers, and home health aides to promote optimal health at home. RNs provide skilled, compassionate care, assess evolving conditions, and develop individualized plans.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing.
• 1-2 years RN experience (ICU, CCU, Med-Surg, Oncology, Gerontology) within last 5 years required or 1-2 years Home health nursing experience preferred
• Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• As a Home Health Clinical Nurse (RN), you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
• You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
• Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the home health nursing team.
