Job summary

Allegiance Home Health seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed physical therapists in helping patients regain mobility and manage pain. You will follow treatment plans, perform therapeutic exercises, and ensure the treatment area remains clean and ready for patients.

Under PT direction, you will track progress and report findings, contributing to coordinated care for stroke, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and cardiac patients.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in physical therapy required.
• Lymphedema certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses hands to move a patient's body and provide therapeutic exercise.
• Observes a patient's issues and accurately reports observations to supervising physical therapist.
• Lifts clients and spends much of their time on their feet; strength and stamina are needed to do the job.
