Job summary

Adoration Health seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to support one-on-one patient care in home-health settings. You will assist the Physical Therapist with interventions, lead therapeutic activities, and document progress for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited PTA training program.
• Current PTA certification in state of practice.
• Current Live CPR Certification.
• Two-step TB skin test required.
• Proof of Auto Insurance.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapy interventions.
• Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics and/or home health.
• New grads encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment interventions.
• Administer therapeutic exercises to improve strength, mobility and function.
• Provide training to individuals and document rehabilitation results.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Support treatment plans by reporting status changes to the multi-disciplinary team.
• Other duties as assigned.
