UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to perform treatment and provide exercise instruction to improve patient well-being in a home health setting, under the plan of care established by a supervising Physical Therapist.

The role involves following state laws, guiding patients in exercises, documenting responses, and coordinating care with the healthcare team. Weekend availability is required, and a valid PA license is essential.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsabilités

• Follow state laws governing physical therapy in home care and work under the supervising PT.
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising PT and care team.
