UnitedHealth Group is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education under the plan of care in home health settings. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with supervising PT and care teams.

Responsibilities include guiding patients through active and passive exercises, gait training, ADLs, transfers, and caregiver education.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsabilités

• Follow state-specific laws governing the provision of physical therapy in home care and perform only supervised procedures.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, and prosthetic training.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment and coordinate care with the supervising PT and healthcare team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy within the scope of physical therapy assistant.
• Function across diverse home environments and patient demographics.
