Catapult Learning in Hanover, MA is seeking an Early Literacy Tutor (Part-Time) to support reading, writing and math for students using our proven curriculum. You’ll act as mentor and advocate, delivering prescribed instructional methods and tracking progress with families and school staff.

Qualifications include an associate degree (or two years of college) or MA teaching credentials, background check, and a passion for helping all children learn. Training and flexible hours available.

Qualifications

• Non-licensed tutors: associate degree or two years of study (48/72 credits).
• Licensed tutors: MA teaching credentials recognized by MA.
• Must complete FBI/BCI background check.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Belief that all children can learn.
• Able to use online platforms for records and communication.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services for students.
• Communicate and conference with parents about student progress.
• Deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods and materials.
• Attend training and implement company-design teaching models for reading, writing, and math.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans.
• Supervise students during sessions and ensure safety.
• Maintain student forms and records per regulations.
• Attend meetings with supervisors, teachers, and parents as required.
• Manage inventory of educational materials.
